I played around with the idea of making shirts for our Friendship to Freezer ministry at church. In this ministry, the women of our church get together and make a ton of meals to stock our church's freezer. Then when we hear of a need, such as a death in the family or a new baby, we have meals ready to bring to the family. If we made shirts, we could use the profits to pay for the groceries to make meals.

My brother recently went to Africa on a mission trip and his group used t-shirts, among other things, to raise money for their trip. I live 5 hours away but wanted a shirt, so I had to mail a check and then wait to get my shirt when family visited.
