I'm Hearing Voices.
Not the crazy kind. The Isabelle kind.
My 2 year old has recently started creating little voices for each of her stuffed animals. Eeyore's voice is, of course, a deep and slow one. Pooh's is high and squeaky for some reason only known to Izzy. And Buzz Lightyear's voice sounds very robotic. Isabelle doesn't say her L's very well, so he says "I'm Buzz White-ear," all in a monotone.
Her daddy went to check on her one night at bedtime, when we suspected that she'd gotten out of bed. But when he walked into her room, she was calmly laying there in her double bed. But upon closer inspection, her feet showed the truth. Her tiny, size 6 feet were wearing hot pink glittery shoes. Last night, I discovered that Isabelle had snuck out of bed just to try on various shoes.
And then there's my favorite habit of Izzy's. Every morning, we hear her bare feet padding down the hallway to our bedroom. She pushes open the door and with hair still falling in her face, she murmurs "Mornin' Da Belle." After her nap, she varies it up a bit and says "Good Ackernoon, Da Belle!"
I know mine isn't the only cute little toddler. What fun things are your kiddos up to this week?
